Mary Anne recommended a really neat book for cooking with kids: Pretend Soup by Mollie Katzen and Ann Henderson. My kids really eat up their recipes ;-) This is Luke making Zuchini Moons. Don't worry, he's using a table knife.

I think my kids would love this. I occasionally let Kaia cut with real knives and direct supervision, but Asher knows he isn't allowed that opportunity yet. I'm glad to know that table knives will actually cut something like a zuccini - I'll have to give him a chance to try.
It's neat to see Luke actually making the recipes - hopefully Emma will be doing the same in a few months...
