Well, we went and voted last night. I did my part. Can't say I'm happy with the results posted for the Golden State this morning--I don't think a single one of my candidates won their race. I'm particularly unhappy about this state's choice of governor and lieutenant governor, although I would also have dearly loved to see someone new in our Senate and House positions.
Oh, and property management just raised our rent.
That's it, I'm leaving California!

When we were in California, the government always caused anxiety for me. That state has issues.
I did love California for a million reasons, but the government was a mark against it. Just wanted to make sure it's known that I do love the state, just not the politics. :)
I've kinda enjoyed California politics--because I felt like a nice, sane person like me was badly needed here :-)
Maybe I should run for governor next time around...

Oh I would love to come to Florida and be your neighbor! Your location looks so beautiful, and your kids are so inspirational. We weren't to far from Florida last month--Alabama. But I think you were out adventuring around the country most of the time we were there.
We're actually moving to Utah, for a 2 year assignment at Hill AFB. We'll keep Florida in mind for the next move!
