Jane, over at What About Mom, made my day today with this blog post. It's so nice to know I'm not the only whose house can get into this condition...
OK, I'm off to clean the living room :-)

Oh. My. Goodness. Just looking at that mess makes me want to pull out my gloves and go berserk on her kitchen. But what's mind boggling is that she slept in until 9:45am! I won't even go there.
Ah yes, Amber...that is why your house will never look like this! Some of us seem to have missed out on the gene that drives someone to clean up a mess just because it is there! Actually, if she hadn't circled and pointed out specific things I probably wouldn't even have noticed most of them (which of course if why my house can look that way--or worse--at times) :-/
Paula -- Just wanted to thank you for the link love. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures.
And yes, I'm off to clean (again) too!
That was great. It's not very often that my house gets like that, but sometimes it does and IT'S AWFUL!!! Honestly, it astounds me how fast a perfectly clean house CAN get this bad. When we had church at 1:00, it wasn't uncommon for a perfectly clean house to get suddenly trashed in about 30 minutes while Jon and I were off getting ready and not closely supervising the horde. I mean, seriously! Don't kids feel a compulsion to clean up after themselves? Apparently not!
