Sibling Terrorism
Yesterday I went to investigate some loud squeals of protest from Lily and found Luke, holding my piano tuning hammer, pretending he was going to hit her with it. I took away the offending implement, but failed to put it away. I turned around a few minutes later when Lily started squealing in terror again and found not Luke but Esther now threatening her sister with the tool. She was very upset when I took it from her! I guess teasing is contagious. I just wish Lily wouldn't encourage it by responding with such tempting squeals!

At least they were only teasing. In our house with rough and rowdy boys, squeals are usually the result of much worse.
Wait a minute...you know how to tune a piano?? How did you learn? I've been thinking about how that would be a nice skill to have, and would save me considerable money.
